The Royal Wedding

Ok, so I know I said that Fashion 24/7 was not longer, but you have got to be crazy if you thought I was just going to let today go by without one post about the Royal Wedding! Like most of the world, I was watching as HRH Prince William took Catherine as his wife. No, I didn’t stay up until 3AM my time, I recorded, and I for one thought the wedding was beautiful and I truly think they make a beautiful couple. Now, in the three hours it took before the actual ceremony was to begin (11AM London time) I began to notice a lot of very fashionable hats arriving at the Abby. And what would the Royal Wedding be without great hats. My favorite was Victoria Beckham’s while others were waiting to see what HM Queen Elizabeth II would be rockin’. I was definitely not disappointed by the hat fanfare. HRH Catherine looked stunning in her wedding gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Sarah also design the dress Kate wore as her evening gown. Make up was flawless (I will be posting "how to"). I have put together some photos of my favorite hats and fascinators for your viewing pleasure, as well as some other favorite photos from the wedding. Enjoy!

***This black and white photo, taken by Mario Testino, is my absolute favorite of the two***
